An adventure into the world of Mexican food

We have never denied that we are also great fans of food from different nations (besides Hungarian delicacies, of course), so we like to adventure in the gastronomy of other cultures.
Among other things, this is how the POLCZ dishes "international" flavours, such as the Mexican vegetable ragout, which will be the main character of today's article, as the epitome of "polczos" in Mexican food.

A must-have for POLCZ tacos

This time we've brought you a really easy, indestructible and very quick recipe to take you all straight to Mexico! If we're not going on a big trip this year, why not take a trip to a different country every week in the comfort of our own home?
Plus, you can throw together this delicious treat for an afternoon with friends or a barbecue, and the variations are endless. So everyone can make it however they like.
It's no secret that we love these quick and filling recipes, but we're probably not telling anyone anything new.

Next up is one of the kings of Mexican food, the taco!

The good thing about tacos is that only one thing is fixed: the tortilla shell.
After that, you can choose anything (really anything) to go inside. If you're a meat eater, you can add all kinds of delicious meats, vegetables and sauces, and if you're a vegetarian, you can add grilled vegetables, vegetable creams or even salad.
The preparation time depends on how you cook the meat and vegetables, but for us it took about 10-15 minutes, including grilling. That's still a pretty good level time, especially if you're a hungry bunch.

New life for the Mexican vegetable ragout

Ingredients (for 4 tacos):

-1 bottle POLCZ Mexican vegetable ragout

-4 smaller tortilla sheets

-2 capsicum peppers

-1 ripe avocado

-1 small head of red onion

-grilled sausages

-jalapeno peppers

-a little lime at the end.

Preparation:

after the barbecue is hot, we wait until there is a nice ember in the fire, then we put our favourite sausage on the grill (we chose a chilli-lime version for a spicier effect) and the caper peppers, which we cook until almost black (of course, it's worth removing the skin).
The vegetables are chopped and the tortilla sheets are lightly toasted (heat them up, because if you overcook them, they break easily when folded).
When everything is ready, take them off the grill and start assembling!

Holding the tortilla sheets in your hands, form small troughs and put the delicious ingredients in them:
the first layer is the The first layer of tortillas The first layer is the first layer of Mexican vegetable ragù, sprinkled with fried capers, diced grilled sausage, diced avocado, onion rings and a little jalapeno (of course, the latter only if you want a more intense flavour, as Mexican vegetable ragù is already a bit spicy).

Once you've done that, you're ready to eat! For the real connoisseurs, we recommend a few drops of freshly squeezed lime on top.
A deliciously zesty, delicious vegetable-meat delicacy with creamy sauce and avocado and sweet cayenne pepper. Heavenly!

A delicious and quick lunch

Mexican food is full of beans, corn and other tasty vegetables, so even without meat, a barbecue taco can make a really filling lunch. Mexican Vegetable Ragu is a vegan addition to the POLCZ range, so you can't go wrong with this if you're looking for a meat-free treat.
And for more on beans as an ingredient we have written a post about it before, read on to find out why you should eat a lot of it!

Prepare this quick lunch or dinner and join us on a gastronomic adventure to Mexico!
